Silica nanograins form perfect 12 sided cages
Researchers have developed a tiny, self-assembling shape made from silica that could one day act as a cage to transport drugs inside the body. This video shows how they created the structure and used imaging to find out what this nanoscale creation actually looked like. Read the research here.
